Ingredients:
Semolina – 1 cup
Green cardamoms – 4 to 5 (small)
Sugar – 1 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Water – 2 cups
Kewra essence – 1/2 tsp
Method:
Take a deep cooking saucepan and add 1/2 cup of ghee. Add 4 to 5 small green cardamoms and 1 cup of semolina. Cook it for 10 minutes, then add 1 cup of sugar, mix it well and once the sugar melts… Add 2 cups of water. Stir well. Add 1/2 tsp of kewra essence. Mix it again. Cook it for another 10 minutes in a low heat flame. Once it changes color into light golden brown and ghee starts to separate from semolina and semolina softens…
Then, dish it out and garnish it with crushed almonds and pistachios…

Serves 5-6 persons.
