Ingredients:
Potatoes – 2 (sliced)
Onions – 2 (sliced)
Gram flour – 4 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Salt (as required)
Water (as required)
For frying:
Cooking oil – 1/2 cup
Method:
Take 2 medium size potatoes and onions, slice them. Then, take a bowl and add 4 tbsp of gram flour, 1/2 tsp of red chili powder, 1 tsp of cumin powder and add salt as required. Mix all the spices well with water to form a thick batter. Add potatoes and onions into the mixture. Mix them well. Take a deep cooking saucepan and add 1/2 cup of cooking oil, once the oil is heated well in a medium heat flame, add a spoonful of batter one by one in the cooking saucepan. Turn them over. Strain them out when they are golden brown in color.
Sprinkle a bit of chaat masala on top of the pakoras…

You can serve it with green chutney.
Serves 4-5 persons.
