Potato Cutlets/Aalo Tikki

 

Method:

Boil 7-8 potatoes in a deep cooking saucepan.

Peel the potatoes.

Mash them.

Add 1 medium size onion and 1/2 a bunch of coriander leaves.

Add 1 tsp of cumin powder, red chili powder, chaat masala and add salt as required.

Mix all the ingredients well.

Take a small amount of the potato mixture into your hands and make a round shape potato patty with the help of your palm.

Take a separate bowl and add 1/2 a cup of bread crumbs.

Beat 1 egg in another bowl.

First, dip it in the egg…Then cover it with bread crumbs.

Add 1/2 a cup of cooking oil into the frying pan and fry the cutlets in a medium heat flame.

Fry them until they are golden in color.

Serve it with tomato chili sauce.

Your Potato Cutlets are ready! 😀

 

 
Serves 5-6 persons.

Preparation time – 35 minutes.
